Panoramic API
Panoramic radiographs are widely used in orthodontics as a diagnostic tool to aid orthodontists in assessing a patient's teeth, jaws, and surrounding structures. These radiographs provide a two-dimensional panoramic view of the entire mouth, encompassing the teeth, jaws, and temporomandibular joints (TMJs).

In orthodontics, panoramic radiographs are valuable for identifying various issues, including tooth and jaw development. By examining the panoramic radiograph, orthodontists can assess the position and development of the teeth and jaws, helping them detect any abnormalities or irregularities that may require orthodontic treatment.
Impacted teeth: Panoramic radiographs are useful in identifying impacted or partially erupted teeth, which can cause issues with tooth alignment and bite function. Jaw abnormalities: Panoramic radiographs are helpful in identifying any abnormalities in the jaw structure, such as asymmetry or deviations from the normal growth pattern. These abnormalities can impact tooth alignment and bite function and may require orthodontic treatment for correction.
TMJ disorders: Panoramic radiographs can assist in identifying any issues with the temporomandibular joints (TMJs), which can result in pain, discomfort, and difficulty with chewing and speaking. In addition to panoramic radiographs, orthodontists may also utilize other diagnostic tools, such as cephalometric radiographs, models of the teeth and jaws, and photographs, to gather additional information about a patient's teeth and jaws. By combining all of this information, the orthodontist can create a personalized treatment plan that is tailored to the patient's unique needs and goals.
How does this API work? The panoramic API reads panoramic images and provides reports on conditions such as missing teeth, periodontally compromised teeth, dental implants, and restorations, as well as dental anomalies like impacted or ectopic eruptions.
