Yes, the pre-pay option is mostly for patients without dental insurance.
in another case, if someone has dental insurance and had two different dentists in the past 15 months and neither offered a pre-pay option, then between the clinic and the patient, they have to settle any insurance/reimbursable themselves.
iSmartOfficeTM only provides some insurance company forms, but it is the responsibility between patients and clinics.

- Discount by promoting a NON-peak hours schedule openings - this will be paid by the clinic (iSmartOfficeTM will not take anything on this transaction)
- Discount by pre-paying the treatment (prepaid) - this will also be paid by the clinic, iSmartOfficeTM will get 5% (for basic), 3% (for smallbiz), and 0% (for enterprise) when patients used these features to prepaid, the amount of discount itself will be absorbed by clinic including the service fee. The good thing is Clinic will get all the $$$ upfront (paid by the patient, processed by iSmartOfficeTM then posted to the clinic).
(There is a disclaimer that this prepaid is only based on the estimate generated by the AI or based on the selection of treatment based on the patient's entry. It is not 100%, and still needs to look at by the dentist. Now, if upon clinical exam, it turned out that the amount of prepaid is greater than the amount of actual treatment, it is between the clinic and the patient to settle the balance. Vice versa if the amount of prepaid is lesser than the amount of the actual treatment then it is the clinic's responsibility to REFUND the patient their portion. These are NOT iSmartOfficeTM responsibilities anymore.)
- Promotions and Best Deals, these promotions expenses are being covered by the clinic. Now we might be able to probably cover a portion of the expenses for promotion (for instance, for a new member, they can promote 3 FREE promotions in the first year).
- For the point system, all point systems 1 cent per point are being covered by iSmartOfficeTM marketing
Point System is courtesy of iSmartOfficeTM and prepaid is a feature for patients.
Later on, the clinic will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out of this feature.
